Life as a postgraduate student can be hectic and at times intense, but Corpus has a very good support system in place for anything you may need. Whether that’s help switching supervisors, advice on the best dentist, or just someone to talk to, there are numerous avenues through which you can get support. The MCR Committee has two welfare officers, an LGBTQ+ officer, an international students officer and an ethnic diversity officer. These committee members plan fun events, and they are always available to talk one-on-one should you need it. The MCR also has a partners & families’ officer, who helps make sure partners of MCR members feel welcome at Corpus. Through College, you can speak to your Graduate Tutor or the Dean of Chapel, and there are plenty of resources available through the Graduate Union and the University.
Ethnic Diversity
Please use the MCR Racial Harassment Form to anonymously report any incidents of racial harassment, whether large or small: https://forms.gle/Tf6vUPNGGY7HfA457
This form will be used to understand the prevalence and form of racial harassment within the College community and to develop better support, and potential reporting systems, for these incidents. It serves as an opportunity to start the conversation about the prevalence of racism at Cambridge, whether it is implicit or explicit, actions or words.
Sexual Health
Free sexual health supplies and feminine hygiene products are available from the boxes in the toilets in Leckhampton House and the cupboards in the MCR. If the supplies have run out or you have any other queries feel free to let the Welfare Team know via e‑mail (see Committee).
